केदारनाथ दाहाल, ललितपुर/नेपाली कांग्रेसका पूर्व महामन्त्री तथा राष्ट्रिय सभामा संसदीय दलका नेता कृष्णप्रसाद सिटौलाले नेपाल स्वतन्त्र र स्वाधीन रहनुपर्छ भन्ने जननेता बी.पी. कोइरालाको स्पष्ट धारणा रहेको उल्लेख गरेका छन्।

नेपाली कांग्रेस ललितपुर जिल्ला कार्यसमितिद्वारा नखिपोटस्थित पार्टी कार्यालयमा आयोजित “स्मृतिमा बी.पी. विचार गोष्ठी” कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै नेता सिटौलाले कुनै पनि विदेशी हस्तक्षेप बी.पी. कोइरालाका लागि अस्वीकार्य भएको बताएका हुन्।

“गरिब जनताको अधिकार, लोकतान्त्रिक प्रणालीको संरक्षण र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मञ्चमा नेपालको उचाइ बढाउने विषयमा बी.पी. उदार सोच राख्ने नेताका रूपमा स्मरणीय छन्,” नेता सिटौलाले भने। राष्ट्र र राष्ट्रियता जनताको अधिकारमा आधारित हुनुपर्ने विचारका पक्षधर रहेका बी.पी.ले लोकतान्त्रिक शासनप्रति कहिल्यै सम्झौता नगरेको उनले बताए।

फाँसीको सजाय सुनाइएकै अवस्थामा राजासँग सहकार्य गरेर राष्ट्रहितका लागि बी.पी.ले देखाएको साहस उल्लेखनीय रहेको बताउँदै सिटौलाले ज्ञानेन्द्र शाहले लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्य तोडेकै कारण राजसंस्थाको अन्त्य भएको टिप्पणी गरे।

कार्यक्रममा नेपाली कांग्रेसका केन्द्रीय सदस्य तथा प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्य उदयशम्शेर राणाले पञ्चायतकालमा कोइराला परिवारले खेपेको संघर्ष, त्याग र निष्ठालाई स्मरण गर्दै वर्तमान नेतृत्वले व्यवहारिक रूपमा काम गर्दै विकास र समृद्धिमा जोड दिनुपर्ने धारणा राखे। तत्कालीन समयमा गठबन्धन अपरिहार्य भएको भन्दै उनले निर्वाचन प्रणालीमा सुधार आवश्यक रहेको बताए। एमालेको सहकार्यमा बनेको अहिलेको सरकार रहर मात्रै नभएर बाध्यत्मक रहेको नेता राणाले बताए।

यस्तै, केन्द्रीय सदस्य तथा राष्ट्रिय सभा सदस्य जीतजंग बस्नेतले वर्षमा दुई दिन मात्र होइन, हरेक दिन बी.पी.को प्रेरणालाई आत्मसात गर्दै कार्यान्वयन गर्नुपर्ने बताए। माओवादी र रास्वपाले अहिले सामाजिक सञ्जाल मार्फत भ्रम छर्ने काम गरेको उल्लेख गर्दै कांग्रेस नेतृत्वले जनताको मनमा रहेको निराशा र भ्रम चिर्नुपर्नेमा उनले जोड दिए।

राजनीतिक विश्लेषक शंकर तिवारीले काङ्ग्रेसले विधान एउटा काम अर्कै गर्दा पार्टी कमजोर हुँदै गएकाले त्यसलाई सच्याउनुपर्ने बताए। उनले बीपी विचारबारे कार्यक्रममा प्रस्तुति दिएका थिए।

कार्यक्रममा नेपाली कांग्रेसका केन्द्रीय सदस्य एवं बागमती प्रदेश सभा सदस्य उर्मिला केसी, राष्ट्रिय सभा पूर्वसदस्य धना खतिवडा, बागमती प्रदेश उपसभापति तथा संविधानसभा सदस्य चन्द्र महर्जन, जिल्ला उपसभापति सुदर्शन घिमिरे, ललितपुर क्षेत्र नं. २ का सभापति महेश खड्का लगायतका नेताहरूले नयाँ सोचसहित जनताको पक्षमा कांग्रेस लागि मात्र बी.पी.लाई सच्चा सम्मान मिल्ने बताए।

गोष्ठीमा बागमती प्रदेश सरकारका युवा तथा खेलकुद मन्त्री मिनकृष्ण महर्जन, बागमती प्रदेश सह–महामन्त्री ऋषिराम घिमिरे, ललितपुर महानगरपालिकाका मेयर चिरीबाबु महर्जन, नेपाली कांग्रेस ललितपुरका संस्थापक नेता सुधालाल मुल्मी, महासमिति सदस्य प्रमोद शर्मा, महाधिवेशन प्रतिनिधि, भातृ तथा शुभेच्छुक संस्थाका प्रमुख पदाधिकारी सदस्यहरूको बाक्लो उपस्थिति थियो।

कार्यक्रमको अध्यक्षता कांग्रेस ललितपुरका जिल्ला सभापति जितेन्द्रकुमार श्रेष्ठले गरेका थिए भने सञ्चालन सचिव वशिष्ठ कुमार अधिकारीले गरेका थिए।
