पशुपति क्षेत्र विकास कोषका कोषाध्यक्ष नारायणप्रसाद सुवेदी नै संलग्न रहेको खुलेको छ। कोषाध्यक्ष सुवेदीको ठाडो निर्देशनमा भेटी संकलनका कर्मचारीसहित आठ जना दर्शनार्थीले चढाएको नगद भेटी चोरी गर्दागर्दै रंगेहात पक्राउ परेका हुन्।
पशुपति क्षेत्र विकास कोषका सातसहित आठ जनालाई प्रहरीले जेठ ७ गते सोमबार पक्राउ गरेको हो। पशुपति क्षेत्र विकास कोषले निगरानी गर्दा संस्कृति संरक्षण महाशाखाको भेटी गणना कक्षबाट कर्मचारीले नै भेटी लुकाएर लैजाने गरेको खुलेको छ। कोषको नेतृत्वले महानगरीय प्रहरी वृत्त गौशालाको टोली बोलाएर आठै जनालाई अनुसन्धानका लागि जिम्मा दिइएको छ।
प्रहरी वृत्त गौशालाका डिएसपी केशवराज थेबेका अनुसार कोषका तर्फबाट भेटी चोरी भएको जानकारी पाएपछि गएको प्रहरी टोलीले त्यसमा संलग्नलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि प्रहरीको जिम्मा दिएको बताउनुभयो । अनुसन्धान हुँदैछ, उनले भने।
कोषका नायव सुब्बा नवराज ढोडारी, मन्दिरका ब्राह्मणहरू नवराज घिमिरे, राम सापकोटा र लक्ष्मण सापकोटा, मन्दिरमा बाजा बजाउने कर्मचारीहरू अनिल परियार, सनिष कपाली र कुमार दमाईलाई प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको हो। पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिर परिसरमा रहेको नेपाल इन्भेस्टमेन्ट मेघा बैङ्कको रकम संकलन केन्द्रका एक कर्मचारीलाई पनि प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ।
पशुपति क्षेत्र विकास कोषका सदस्य सचिव डा. मिलनकुमार थापाले मन्दिर भित्रबाटै भेटी चोरी हुने जानकारी आएपछि सिसिटिभीको निगरानीमा राखिएको बताए। उनका अनुसार सिटिभिटीको निगरानीका क्रममा सोमबार चोरी कार्यमा संलग्नको पहिचान भएपछि अनुसन्धानका लागि प्रहरीको जिम्मा लगाएर पठाइएको हो। ‘मन्दिरका दर्शनार्थीले श्रद्धाले चढाएको रकम चोरी गर्ने गिरोह समातिएको छ। बाँकी प्रहरी अनुसन्धानबाट खुल्नेछ, उनले भने।
पशुपतिनाथ मन्दिरबाट दैनिक तीन लाखदेखि तीन लाख ५० हजार रुपैयाँसम्म भेटी सङ्कलन हुन्छ। कोषका प्रवक्ता रेवति रमण अधिकारीले सङ्कलित भेटी नेपाल इन्भेस्टमेन्ट मेघा बैङ्कको बत्तिसपुतली शाखाका कर्मचारीले मन्दिर परिसरमै जम्मा गर्ने बताए। उनका अनुसार पक्राउ परेका अभियुक्तले ज्याकेटमा लुकाएर रकम लाने गरेको सिसिटिभी फुटेजमा देखिन्छ।
भेटी सङ्कलनको जिम्मेवारी पक्राउ परेका नवराज ढोडारीले हेर्दै आएका छन्। बाजा बजाउने कर्मचारीलाई आर्थिक नियमावली विपरीत खटाएका हुन् कोषका कोषाध्यक्ष नारायणप्रसाद सुवेदीले। पक्राउ परेका अनिल परियारले कोषाध्यक्ष सुवेदीले आफूहरूलाई नै पैसा संकलन गर्न र लुकाएर ल्याउन खटाएको बयान प्रहरीलाई दिएका छन्। परियारले सुवेदीकै निर्देशनमा दैनिक तीन हजारदेखि १५ हजारसम्म लाने गरेको बयान प्रहरीसमक्ष दिएका छन्।
कोषाध्यक्ष सुवेदीले बाजा बजाउने कर्मचारीलाई रकम सङ्कलनमा खटाउन नमिल्ने कोषले जनाएको छ। ‘आर्थिक नियमावलीअनुसार विशेष अवस्थाबाहेक बाजा बजाउने कर्मचारीलाई मात्रै होइन, अरुलाई पनि अर्को कुनै शाखामा पठाउन मिल्दैन, भेटी सङ्कलनमा त खटाउन पाइँदैन, उनले भने।
पक्राउ परेका परियारले ज्याकेट लगाएर आउनु भन्ने र रकम संकलनपछि लुकाएर आफ्नो जिम्मा लगाउन भन्ने गरेको बयान दिएका छन्। ‘सिसिटिभी छ, हामी यस्तो काम नगर्नेभन्दा केही हुँदैन, कसैले देख्दिैन, गर गर भन्नुभयो, अनि गरेको, उनले बयानमा भनेका छन्। परियारसहित भेटी चोरीको गिरोहले सोमबार मात्रै नौ हजार रुपियाँ लुकाएर लगेको बयान प्रहरीसँग दिएका छन्। कोषाध्यक्ष सुवेदीले भेटी चोरीको विषय आफूलाई थाहै नभएको भनेर तर्किए। उनले ‘कहिले–कहाँ चोरी भएको रहेछ ? मलाई थाहै छैन’ भनेर फोन राखेका छन्।
